When I had my first daughter Jessica, I didn’t even leave the house properly for 6 weeks, let alone think about booking a newborn photographer! Sadly it is one of my biggest regrets as by the time I realised, it was just too late to get those amazing newborn poses you see on my website!
Babies are beautiful at all ages, but the first 10 days really is that magic time when your newborn baby is most sleepy and more importantly, is still curled up in that lovely fetal position, which means he or she has no objection to me carefully positioning them in those cute little poses.
It’s really important to get in touch as soon as you can to discuss availability and to book in a provisional date. My diary gets pretty booked up and I only do a maximum of 2 newborns sessions a week as babies can arrive at any time and I need to remain flexible to accommodate this. I offer provisional bookings for 10 days after your due date, which we can adjust accordingly to when your baby actually arrives!
I offer newborn shoots in the comfort of your own home. I bring a variety of soft, cozy blankets, a selection of beautiful newborn hats and headbands, a few little props and a giant bean bag! All I need for the shoot is a bit of space and some natural light (patio doors are ideal).
You can check out more of my newborn photographs in my galleries and information on pricing within the investment page.
If you would like to discuss arranging a shoot, please get in touch via the contact page. If you are still pregnant, why not also consider a pregnancy bump shoot, which also gives you a £40 credit towards your newborn shoot?
